Having watched everyone on the water the previous day, I got down to the rental center first thing in the morning. I grabbed some kit that looked similer to my own, Bic Blast 125 and 6.5m Amp. Unfortunatly I went out too early - and its true - warmer winds have far less power than cool wind. Still, got some good planning runs and then came back in to sunbathe until the thermals really picked up.
Went back out after about 1.5 hrs, but was pretty over powered. Decided to come in and change to some small kit. Picked up a JP freestyle 100 and a 5.5m Naish Amp. Took a while to get used to the kit, but had some good runs around the swell, and landed my largest ever jump. Sadly I never even meant to take off! Didn't like the board, just went sideways so easily. Came in when knakered knowing I'd get another good day tomorrow and hit the rum.
